Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte

Deloitte experienced hires, who all received written offers and in process of visa/ onboarding, have you heard back anything about hiring freeze? Or recruiter asked you to delay joining date?
My visa got submitted couple of days back and waiting for decision. When I reached out to recruiter to give her an update and mentioned once there’s decision will discuss on the start date before putting my 2 weeks, she mentioned “Yes, we should talk before you put notice” - Am I overthinking? It will be pointed out in BGV by hsbc hr team and you will receive an email to give justification, either you have to share card closure letter or any means available to show you are in talks with bank to clear your credit card.
If the card details have been removed now from your credit history then you can keep an answer ready why the cibil score is low

Bgv take around 20-30 days before onboarding day
Is your bgv completed and you onboarded successfully? Did you faced any challenges in BGV due to cibil score and card issue? I'm asking coz by BGV is ongoing and I have similar issue. My cibil is around 690, but I have one old 15 years back Citi CC which has an outstanding amount which was not paid due to some dispute which was not resolved by bank and later closed and reflecting as Written Off in my Cibil report.
However, in past 5-7 years I've worked with few banks &IT companies where my bgv and cibil has been checked, but there was no issue raised because of this written off card. Also I have been sanctioned multiple PL's and CC by various other banks despite of this old disputed CC in my cibil report.
I'm concerned if there will be any challenges iny BGV due to this?
Don't worry. CIBL score doesn't matter. BGV will be successful.
Cibl check is just part if process. It won't effect your onboarding
