So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Guys did you hear the big news???
My post is for a lot of folks here who complain about managers not budging to negotiations and not offering package ,what you are expecting.I have one thing to say, there are lot of ibm employees who moved to kyndryl. Inspite of lot of contributions they are earning meagre salary. Now do you expect these people to hire you for more package most of time the package you are demanding is more than what these managers draw. So pls do not look at kyndryl as any other startup.Thanks.

How would anyone answer that with such limited information provided and such a broad question?
Lol APMM roles are competitive because the barrier to entry is very low. I went to an information session, couldn’t believe the quality of talent there, then also got rejected without an interview...
Aim higher and you’ll find a role that will interview you too!
The APMM is notorious for being incredibly competitive. Being dinged, even with referral is normal.

What is APMM?
OP, did you apply to the APMM role in S&O? Or for the general profile
I think it’s a role that looks more at personality / fit than technical ability. I’ve heard it’s not very high paying but you do get the brand name. I had a first round while at my firm and didn’t make it past.
What role
I applied to the APMM role, which seemed to target ex-consultants early in their career
Sorry to hijack thread-what was the interview process like?
Is APM even harder
