I was in the final stages of an interview with Microsoft two weeks ago, in partner marketing. Then the recruiter told me they were putting the hiring process on hold to assess the need for the role. Well, then we heard about Microsoft layoffs last week. Seems like most were in Xbox and Project Alpha but there’s not a lot of information out there. Should I hold out any hope that I’m going to get this job? Any insights on how much these layoffs have impacted the marketing org and/or new hiring?
Hey fishes
I have received two mails from Tiger Analytics one is a case study and
other sql assessment
In case study it is mentioned to
submit within 3 days but for sql
assessment nothing is mentioned
Anyone have idea for it's timelines
Also it would be really helpful if any
experience is shared regarding what
kind of questions are expected for
this assessment.
Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview

It would do both. I’d seriously consider not taking the job. I’d actually pry a little bit. Turnover amongst hourly employees is normal. But high turnover amongst management is a big red flag. High turnover in general is something to be cautious about. What’s to say that you start in this place and you’re in the same boat, ready to leave after a few months or so?
That’s very true, maybe need to reconsider!
