Hi all, I’m currently a solution architect with 1yoe and two bachelors degrees. I also hold two cloud certifications and make 60k a year. This seems very low considering what I’ve seen for average SA salaries for those who hold the AWS SAA certification. Was hoping for some insight on this and if I should seek more compensation. Hello fishes, can someone tell me if HSBC EDP provides, work phone to it's employees? Like a seperate mobile device for work? Or can it be requested?

Can someone discuss the pros and cons of having a gym close to work vs having a gym near home but still would have to commute there, go back home then go to work. To me it seems more convenient to just on the way to work go to the gym, shower, then go into the office.

Ps: yes, I'm in the office.

I need advice from the collective. It seems like there is a trend to sell wine in unique bottles. The only problem with this, those bottles will not fit into my wine fridge. Has anyone transferred wine to standard bottles and are you concerned about the wine one it hits the air? I’ve looked at vacuum stoppers but not sure if this is a good idea or not.

I'm looking for wine recommendations as a bourbon drinker. I'm a regular to barrel proof bourbons (120+ proof) and did a few red wines tonight but was expecting more. I'm hoping to find a red that is more full tasting or has a more pronounced finish.

Any recommendations on getting into wine? I love other specialty beverages (3rd wave coffee, craft beer), but struggle to “figure out” wine.

The ability to get involved with local beer and coffee producers has been a huge factor for me, so I’m guessing the comparative lack of local wine producers has contributed to me struggling to understand more of the process, culture, tasting notes, etc.

Love Spanish/Balearic wine, my go to is currently Sa Vall Selecció Privada from a Vineyard in Mallorca.

I keep getting sour wines. I’ve never had this issue before but the last few bottles I got (store shelf, nothing too fancy) tasted like they were opened and left out. That gross stale sort of sour taste… but the cork was in tight and sealed. 🧐

Would love some new suggestions for sweet but strong wines. Doesn’t matter if it’s red or white.
