Has any of you left the US during H1B extension? Does it cost any troubles later on?

If you join pwc with an approved I140, do they start the green card transfer (perm, i140) immediately ? I was told by recruiter it will start immediately after H1 transfer . I Wanted to know how true this is if anyone been through this

The cap count was reached after we submitted, so no approval. Is there any other avenue to bring over those workers or is he screwed?

I have been offered a job at KPMG within cyber security in the uk. Originally it was a 25% hike offer. Now I have received a 8% hike at Deloitte as part of the current performance cycle along with a 5k bonus (great incentives every year) The only thing is KPMG is offering this in a @kpmg regional location where I’m based plus the disadvantage is I need to pay 2500£ for my dependent visa costs which I can save if I continued with Deloitte. Seen Lot of negative comments about KPMG. Any thoughts ?

I get a different reason everytime (after going through the whole process). This has never happened earlier in life and now I don't know what else to do. I heard Deloitte won't apply Green Card till 2 years after joining. I'm 3 years from H1b max out. 2 years is too late for me. Any possibility to get an earlier start during offer negotiation?

- I didn't get selected in the H1B lottery.
- My company has agreed to send me to their London office for a year (haven't yet filed application).
- OPT ends in late June, so I can stay till mid-late August (grace period).

Question:
Should I just move to London as soon as I'm able to, or is it worth waiting until the end of my OPT in August in case they do a second round of the H1B lottery?
