I applied for a position through a recruiter and made it through the interview rounds with the actual company and received a verbal offer, but haven’t heard back since. Am I able to reach out directly to HR for updates or does all communication have to be filtered through the recruiter?

I applied for a role a few days ago and found the relevant hiring manager today via LinkedIn. Should I send a follow up mail/introduce myself to this person. Would it leave a good impression or come across as desperate?

Been 3 months since I joined Luxoft and I am assigned to a backward DXC project. The lead is oppressive and bossy. There is no work-life balance and 9:30 hours of work is not enough for them. Whenever I got promoted to digital ACD a few years ago, I noticed my pay was much lower than I expected for the market I’m in, hard to find skillsets, performance, and visibility I’ve brought to the agency. I’ve brought this up a few times and was told HR would do research into salary equity, but the convo always fades. I put my foot down with my GCD, and she supports me, but I would like to come to the table with my own research. Where should I be looking for accuracy?
