Its 10k. What are you trying to purchase? Lmbo
I have but not contacted hr . I called amex and they provided me a contact who I should reach out to
I Skyped and got it extended in 5 mins
Ours is a charge card to be paid off monthly, with no limit... are you sure you have a limit?
One more knock against EY benefits/policies
What do you mean by extend?
I know in orientation they say the limit is 10k but I’ve carried a 14k balance and didn’t get blocked from AmEx or have to explain anything To hr (last min international flight + extended stay abroad)
Yep! They only gave me 12k 🙄
Call the # on the back of your card. Depending on how it’s setup, they usually don’t require authorize to raise your credit limit temporarily unless it’s more than a certain amount. If your company is large enough you may even have a dedicated rep who you can call directly to do that for you
Mine is 20k
I've bought airfare that was over 14k for a single flight
i did. extended to 20k. call them and there will get it done in 5mins
I’ve had charges close to $20k due to international flights, etc and never had an issue
You EY 🐠 have a limit?
Yes. Think I’m up to 20 or 30k
This is a company card with a limit?
Thanks for all the advice, yes we have a 10k limit. Project took forever to get a charge code so I wasn’t able to start expensing for this travel project ($1,500-$2,000 a trip) until about week 6. Then I got swamped and only did a few weeks... long story short, I completed all my expenses and waiting for them to go through audit and be processed. In the meantime, I still need to travel, called AMEX and they weren’t willing to extend my limit and referred me to some EY businesses support email.
Wow. That sounds like such a hassle. Also remind me that I need to do expenses... I think I’m around $12k backlogged to 😅
