Has anyone ever traveled to Thailand during October? I've read it's the end of the monsoon season and rains heavily. But is it still enjoyable?

Would recommend you go anytime between November and before the summer time (late May-June). Better weather and while the tourists are still around, it’s less chaotic than high season. Would not go between July-October due to monsoon season. Humidity is at its worst and the rain is plenty.

Here right now. Rain makes it hard to plan things and will only be worse in Oct. If you don’t mind navigating around the downpours during the day, it’s still a blast.

Was there in June. It monsooned once for a day. Was not enjoyable and wrecked our travel plans.

Thank you all! I'm rescheduling my trip to December.

I was there from 12/26-1/10 - great time to be there.

like

I was there in Oct 2019. It only rained once while I was there and only for 5-10mins max.

Especially if coming from the East Coast, I think it only makes sense to go to SE Asia during your destination’s non-monsoon months. It’s quite the trek, so you might as well maximize good weather.

Help!! My bestfriend is doing two months abroad and was trying to fly into turkey when they told her she couldn't because her passport expired within three months.

She went to the US Embassay in Athens knowing she had a month left of traveling, and gave her an emergency passport and punched holes in her exsisting one. Now no country will let her in with her emergency passport.

Can her mom get her a passport in the US and ship it to her? Is there anyway around this?

Thank you!!

For those who have started traveling again... I recently started flying for work and am noticing increased discrimination on Delta Airlines. Have you experienced and what dis you do about it?

Hi Fishes. I'm selected in Synechron for Presales role in Pune and want to know how is Synechron as a company.
I have read a lot of negative reviews where it was mentioned that it has a no bench policy and Synechron fires a lot of people.
My role is not a client based role, as I'll be working with Synechron Sales/ Busiess team only.

Is there anyone here who has worked with Synechron in the past or is working currently? Can you please let know whether I should Synechron or not ?
