Has anyone here gone from an AAG position to AUSA position, if so can you share your experience? I am just assessing if it is ultimately a possibility. I think that would be my dream job. Still looking to reach it severals years out of practice. Thank you!

Are there any agencies where creatives actually have good work-life balance in LA, SF or anywhere else for that matter? Like no weekends or no working more than a 40-50hr week? Or do I have to go in house for this? Or do I have to leave advertising altogether?

I feel like I’m either getting burnt out by work or trying to heal myself from it. There’s never much time for real life and I don’t want to be on my death bed reminiscing like, “Wow, I made some cool ads.” Nothing scares me more.

I have worked in four different types of pharmacy and I don’t really like anything so far. I don’t know what to do anymore. Right now I don’t feel like I can do any of these jobs forever. The types I have worked in are:hospital (pediatrics ), retail, specialty and a call center.

I was recently approached by a recruiter about a position as a litigation attorney at the DOJ. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any more specific information other than what I would be doing is “generally commercial litigation.” Can anyone share insights on what this may entail? Is it normal for a recruiter to be placing people for these government repositions?

I took a temporary job as an attorney advisor at the SBA this past fall b/c it offered a regular paycheck, and my solo practice was suffering b/c of the pandemic. I like the work. Has anyone signed a contract to work for X amount of years with the government and then broken that contract? Are there repercussions? The contract was two sentences that said I would work for X years. That’s it. I cannot find any information online about what happens if you hate your new job so much that you quit. Anyone?
