Still pretty early in the app process here. What extra curricular activities are best to up your chances for M7 admission?

I went to a low tier law school and I am having difficulty getting into big law. Would like to change practice area and increase income. Would it be worth it for me to pursue a LLM?

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?

Posted about this a while back but didn’t get a definitive response. I have a bunch of Manhattan prep GMAT books from the past few years that have little to no writing in them. There’s probably 20 of them so pretty heavy but I’m looking to give this away to someone for free. Only thing is I asked for you to take all of them versus just a few. - Georgetown's part-time program (ranked #1 in US, 3yrs): Graduate with 200K in debt
- Application already submitted, results by end of Feb

- George Mason's part-time program (ranked #4 in US, 4yrs): Graduate with 20K in debt (with the possibility of it being $0 debt)
- Application not yet submitted, but thinking about applying ED to a program that offers full tuition scholarship. Deadline: Mid-Jan

Hey, so I was offered a CDP position as an analyst in Accenture starting this fall, but today I just found out I got the Fulbright scholarship to be an ETA in Thailand for a year. It’s an honor of course, and I’m thinking about asking my recruiter if I could delay my Accenture start date for a year. Would it be worth it to do so? Is it even possible?

Suggestions for prep? I scored a puny 470 in mocks.

I had two recruiters today reschedule a meeting. And this is the second time rescheduling. Honesty, not sure what value recruiters bring. Is this common now? Is it hard to have respect for people’s time and their schedule? Reschedule once I can understand. But twice is just stupidity. I hope AI wipes out all bad recruiters who don’t give af. Sorry for the vent. Maybe it’s just my bad luck then.

I have received an offer to work with another big 4 in London as manager with their consulting team starting June. The role is definitely a step up in terms of responsibilities from my current role as a senior consultant.
