Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

If you have a lot of Euros saved up I would come back to Canada as that will help with housing with the exchange rate to CAD. If not I would look at other parts of the world such as the US or Dubai/Saudi/Qatar for the next few years until costs in Canada and salaries are more in line.
BoA1, thank you. Surprisingly accurate and on point. I’d second everything you said.
OP, I would look at US opportunities and try to live in Canada and work remotely. Canads vs Germany will leave a lot to be desired as Canada COL is beyond dogshit at the moment but these things are generally cyclical and one can expect a reversal in a couple of years (no earlier than 3 years minimum).
Your orientation will not be discriminated in Canada and I bet it is similar in Germany but your quality of life will take a plunge. I’d save up and prepare myself for the move rather than taking a leap of faith.
Look into Canada cost of living before making move
