Honestly, I think AI apps are overrated for travel planning. Sure, they’re fast, but a lot of their recommendations feel generic or uninspired. If you want a trip tailored to your interests, there’s no substitute for doing your own research or asking people who’ve been there.
I tried one for a trip to Italy, and while it helped with logistics like mapping routes and timing, the suggestions felt a bit too mainstream. I think AI apps are great for creating an outline, but for unique experiences, I still lean on blogs, forums, or even asking hotel staff.
I have tried this one, but I’ve found the same issue with ChatGPT even when I refine prompts.
I’m wondering if anyone has found a good app to optimize routing and the order of the itinerary?

ChatGPT is a great travel planner. Whether it’s for finding restaurants, mapping out a walking tour, or recommending things to do. I wouldn’t pay extra for another ai planner, they’re probably built on gpt anyway
You can use the AI for the initial research. But I would still recommend getting feedback through your connections. I would also recommend a travel advisor since you can pay the same as booking directly and get perks through preferred partners. What’s the ramen spot that you liked? Do you have a hotel that you liked in Osaka or Tokyo?
I had my trip to Asia recently (finally), and planned my trip with Easytrip ai, work quite well in my favour, fast and smart. I am fine with it being a tool to plan my trip, not an AI do it all thing, Do not let AI plan 100% for you, at least not yet, they are not there yet.
