Looking for a treadmill for a standing desk. But also want one that I can run on. I would like walking distances to go up to 4-4.5 and running up to 8-9 mph. Would be great to have one of those that the rail and be moved and the treadmill placed under the desk for walking. Incline would be great. Any suggestions or is it technically not feasible to have all of this in one machine?

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.

So here are my questions.

How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.

When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.

Thanks in advance!

What type of shocks to wear during yoga?

Portfolio question to creatives, especially the freelancers out there. The last produced campaign I have in my book is from 2020. I’ve been busy freelancing since but nothing book-worthy IMO. Lately I’ve been getting a lot of “what else you got” and “send over your up-to-date resume” comments from recruiters and GCD level creatives. How do you handle this? Do you give a general client and/or agency list? Some are also asking about side hustles and it’s frankly getting exhausting.

Sorry for the stupid question, but that is my first time switching jobs.

A week ago received an offer from the "A" Agency. But I'm also talking with "B" agency and I guess that they can also send me an offer.

Personally, I prefer the "B" agency for many reasons. But they are so slow in making a decision and agency "A" demands my quick response on their offer.

Any pieces of advice? Should I write to the "B" agency and ask them to hurry up?

I started my consulting career 4 years ago after working for a few NGOs in the DC metropolitan area. I noticed that within consulting, colleagues don’t share personal matter and the relationship is very superficial. I am not expecting to know everything about my teammates but I find it bizarre that when I ask “how was your weekend?”, I always get the same generic response “great, how was yours?”

Is this normal? I am used to having a workplace culture where folks are able to share (cont.)

Is the Workday Payroll Certification really worth it?

Especially considering you can make a similar amount of money doing the other core HCM modules without having to learn about the Practitioner side of things in Payroll.

Also, if you want to exit to an internal role, 9/10 job openings that I see do not even list payroll as a requirement but you'll always see the core modules+ Absence & TT.

Please share your thoughts.

Congratulations to all the people getting a job offer in the past three months, but let me ask you a serious question.

Are you negotiating once you get the offer or are you just accepting it because you are so happy?

I understand that the fear is that they will take back their offer, but to be honest that will never happen.

If they made you an offer is because they have selected you over hundreds, if not thousands, of other applicants.
