I applied for it after I spent 10 years working at nonprofits. I was told that my job qualified and I did everything the right way, including making all of my payments and then some. But then I was denied based on a technicality.

You have to make 10 years, 120 payments at least and work for a nonprofit ( or the other categories, such as teachers, govt workers ) to qualify! If you didn’t qualify on a technicality, you can appeal!

There’s an ombudsman group with Studentaid. Gov — I would see if you can’t get some assistance there to help you figure it out! There are also a lot of senators hot on the trail because of all of the complaints!!!

Got selected in 1st technical round from Accenture. Hr called for package discussion and finalized the pay. Have uploaded all the documents and eaf got completed. Now again today got call from some person for telephonic technical round. I had completed that waiting for results. What does this really mean? Curious to know how much your student loans were when you graduated from your program, how much you’ve paid off so far, and your age. If you have any varying factors too, like kids, income range, etc. Just trying to see if I’m on track or slacking in life. I am 34 yo, i graduated with 95k in student loans, i currently have 85k left and i make 85k in come. I’m also a single mom with two kids. Just praying for 100% student loans forgiveness. Wishful thinking???
