Due to a recent company-wide increase and additional pay for bilingual direct reports I am only making a dollar and change above them as their supervisor. I was hired into this position in March, having been the first employee in this department. I really tried to get them to budge on salary, they did not, but shortly after accepting they gave the whole company a dollar raise.

Switching team internally competing with external candidates. was asking a promotion for next grade midpoint but was ok to accept >=50% hike which i told hiring manager before the process start itself which he said will consider if I'm the one selected.

Attended 5 rounds-- 1 coding, 2 technical, 1 managerial, 1 hr. Now after 2 months telling me I'm the selected one, but offering me just 20% hike and same grade

Hi Everyone. I completed my 1 year in EY in October 2022. And in my profile, they have updated it to Senior Analyst now. But that was a progression that happens every year and I have not received the incremented salary.

Now that they are giving increments to everyone, will I receive both progression and increment or my progression will be counted as increment.

Highly confused.

At what point in your career do you think you find out if you are actually on the partner track or not? For reference, I just got promoted to manager and get lots of talks about “things I should do as I continue to progress through the firm”, but I wasn’t sure when or if this is communicated to people in more certain terms. Working with no budgets in any team. Partners indirectly encourage you to eat up hours. End of year it’ll hit my util even tho im 150% utilized. Getting sick of this nonsense.
