Of course, I think there is more news on social networks now than in other places. The only bad thing with this is that many people don't worry about confirming the source and so there is more fake news.
I always like to see the news on the official pages. It gives me a certain degree of confidence. In my case it hasn't changed, but for most people it has.
I kinda just ignore the news once I get home now. I try to do activities that get me out of my head like working out, gaming, and cooking and just kind of tune out the rest of the world
Yes, now I think not all that glitters is gold, I see how the media are capable of saying anything to generate a position or news, fake news is increasing.
Now I always look for the other version of the news and even more so when they are international things, for example when watching the war between Russia and Ukraine, on national channels you only have one version of the story, but if you venture to look for another side of the coin You will see other reasons for this war.
Yes, I'm much more skeptical of the sources I use and I try to cross-reference different sources to get a more well-rounded view of what's happening.
I definitely consume more news now than I ever have before. I used to be more of a casual news consumer, reading a few articles here and there, but now I often find myself reading several articles on the same topic or watching multiple news segments on the same issue
