I thought it was just me, but all those documentaries about serial killers are so addictive that I get excited just watching the trailer, at the same time it shows a part of our history, whether we like it or not, our country is recognized in the world in many places for having so many serial killers
Basically, it is healthier to do that than to continue seeing false news in the media, they are not all but we really need a bit of calm.
I have to say that I don't even watch the news, those serial killer documentaries catch me in a way that if I don't have a job I can watch all the episodes in a single day, it's something very crazy.
It is my guilty pleasure, in a certain way I prefer to see that than turn on the TV and see news about shootings and mass deaths in my country, I know that the murderers are also from here, but it was a long time ago to live these times is something horrible.
That meme totally represents me, it's something I always do because it's like my happy place, even if it sounds very ugly, but many times it's that the story is so well told that everything that happens surprises you.
If I do, with everything, not just with documentaries, I prefer to watch Netflix than watch the news, I am a reporter so I know very well when they lie to me, as journalists we know how to distinguish between lies and the truth and many news are not completely sincere, that fills me of annoyance.
LOL Yes! Dahmer was my favorite show of the year, hands down. It was so clever and overall I really enjoyed it.
What documentaries have you all been watching? Anything good you can recommend, preferably on NEtflix!
Does it have to be serial killer related? If not, Down To Earth is really enjoyable!
I don't know if I enjoy serial killer drama per se, but those weird unexplained ghost show, to me those are horrifyng.
Dahmer was such a scary show lol I cannot believe there's people who truly think like that. Killing someone and then eating them is like... insane.
I'm starting to find escape in basically anything that isn't our current reality. It's a habit I'm trying to break, but it can be hard to cope with all the depressing news, can't it?
