Hi Fishes, I cleared technical and MCQ round at Accenture. And got a mail stating i have been selected for HR round. Later the same day a hr called and asked me to upload all documents and asked my expected CTC and stuff. Earlier in portal it was showing interviewing , now it shows review or pending and has a message ' we regret to inform that you experience does not align with req, we will contact if anything comes up' , what does this mean. How can they put something like this?

I can’t even afford a one bedroom close to the office. Traffic is an hour or more outside of Brickell. It would destroy me mentally to waste 2 hours every day just sitting in traffic.
Now as of yesterday it’s mandatory 2 days a week. We are required to pay for parking. $15-25 a day. Commute is so long that it basically requires us to pay for breakfast/lunch. It’s( (15+20)*8)=$280 a month not accounting for commuting costs. It’s fine if we got paid more but at 80k… I think I’m going to start looking for a new job. They want us to come back to the office like others at A&M but many others at A&M make way more than Core Tax. Living in Brickell is literally unaffordable at my salary. I can’t even get approved for a 1 bedroom at $2,500 (more than 3x my salary)
Officially yes, 3:2 in favour of the office but officially no one controls me. However, it may be office or country-specific. In my team people don’t care as long as you’re doing your stuff (I work in an Eastern European office FYI)
Yes, they did. They said that they were going to stay wfh. Just a few months ago, it was mandated to go into the office twice a week. Now there re rumors we will be going back fully in office.

Yeah. When your mentor is actively telling you that you need to go in 2/3 times a week so that it doesn’t ding you for promotion this year…
It’s like “we aren’t forcing you to go in, but you really should”.
We are further committing to WFH, our offices are at most 10% occupied, and more of our senior leadership are moving to cities with no offices. Feel pretty lucky considering what I’m seeing in this thread.
They've been doing their best tap dance routine on the issue. One minute they're singing the praises of flexibility and productivity and the next they're humming a tune about "the importance of collaboration" and "the synergy of the office." Whatever that means.
If you're in a city with an office. You need to be there 1 day per week. I suspect the plan is raise this to 2 in Q2.
