Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.
Never worked in a big company like zoom before, what are the pros, and the drawbacks?

I’ve heard of this but the project didn’t pan out so it never came to pass. If i’d worked 40 hours during the week, the weekend was supposed to be the # of hours I worked at 1.5x my rate but it wasn’t clear to me when exactly it would be paid… and I didn’t like it also because I typically charge day rates and didn’t think it was clear if I’d be compensated for waiting-around time when I couldn’t go out and do other stuff. In general it just sounded weird.
For some clarity, we were told we had nothing to worry about and we’d be paid a comparable rate to what we were already making for the hours we worked. We never would have said yes if they asked us to work and our compensation was not guaranteed and at the discretion of others at the end of the month.
