You are surely jealous. Where did you get your masters from? NESSUS / NIKTO are Vulnerability scanners not pentesting tools. There is a whole lot of difference between scanning and pentesting. Not everyone needs to know everything in cyber security, I'm damn sure you know nothing about Blockchain or cloud security or IoT or SCADA or Embedded or Hardware security or Drone Security! Can I call you incompetent and unskilled ?

You don't even require a master's degree for cyber security jobs. You just have to get relevant training and certifications. Wat other earning is none of your business, even if he is bad at his job it's not your business and he is not working for you. Mind your business and don't blame people
Well, what do you mean when you say things might go "undetected"? Seems like you didn't study well in your masters for cyber security the very basics says your org will be breached no matter what, by that even things can go undetected with procedures you do, manual pentesting is obviously better but there are product based companies just for that I.e "nessus" if your colleague fails to detect IoCs via these platforms the product actually failed, still no matter how bad he is at work I would say don't bother about him and his work just focus on your goals and switch

Its ok to get frustrated as people are good at marketing than doing work. And it pains specially on one who has to do the work.
But its better to leave such company and switch.
Thats what I said not everyone is good in marketing. But this is more important than actually doing work. That what I learned hardway in EY do less show more. 😄
If he had issues with his colleague. he should said while he was working in the organisation when it was effecting him. Now there is no reason to tell about it.
