I realized most of my anxiety or depression stems from a lack of career fulfillment. I recently started a new position and things were going great till they restructured my group and laid off a few on my team.

Now I'm always looking over my shoulder and too concerned about screwing up. In the past, I have been laid off & I can't help reading too much in to every single email. My therapist made me aware of this but I'm looking for coping tools that someone in my situation has found useful. HELP!

If you request unemployment between the offer and starting, do you not receive the benefit? Worried about stating I've received an offer and that I'm no longer looking, though my new employer is the one having me wait a few weeks.
