Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:
1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.
2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.
3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)
4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

Yes I had a lawyer review the contract and redline and ask for more favorable terms including 3 months severance and they agreed
When I got hired at my last job I negotiated a 4-week severance instead of their standard 2-week policy, which isn't much, but it was like pulling teeth though they agreed to it.
Unfortunately, you don’t have much leverage in that situation. So your best bet is just appealing to their humanity, rather than negotiating. I asked if I could have one more day of employment, to put me into the next month for insurance. But I doubt you’d be very successful asking for more money.

I would say your ability to negotiate this is dependent on your level and the type of company. As a Senior Copywriter you MAY be able to get a little.
Most companies have “bands” by title that give a range to the recruiters (or HR) on what is possible. An independent agency will have more flexibility than a holding company.
You might have an easier time negotiating a higher salary and planning to save the difference
