If you’re white like me it’s so important to realize that we were raised in a society where institutionalized racism is normalized, and we were born with privilege. You can’t choose the color of your skin, but you can choose to put ego aside and reflect on why this isn’t happening to me, and be vocal about being anti-racist.

You two should have fought
Chances are he saw you, bumped you on purpose and said something to make a point. If you are walking and your pace or obstruction can affect others, don’t look at your phone. If you must do something on your phone at that very moment and it cannot wait... get out of the way. While rude, it was clearly a point that needed to be made given how innocent you think you are in this scenario. Man I hope you don’t live in nyc
Yes . You have no responsibility for anything if you have achieved Mobile Ownership. It sets you above everyone else
I have to say I thoroughly dislike when people walk and text. If you need to do something on your phone step aside and get it done. It’s an innocent thing to do. But it does really muck up walking a simple sidewalk. That said, that guy was rude.
I want to take your side here, but I think we need more details.
@op, still. Pull over if you’re gonna be on your phone. Shit is annoying.
I saw this. You have to admit you were kinda in the wrong, but he was staring up at something in a window or something so I guess he shoulda paid attention as well. The point is his was a more natural distraction. Woulda been a good fight maybe next time glad all is well
Ah yeah. I'm pretty sure you never read an email or check your calendar while walking around the office. Never. Not a single time. You are the mister correctness.
It was Guy Fiery
This was worth posting. Keep it up!
Ya I don’t believe any asshat saying they don’t walk and use their phone at the same time. I literally don’t believe anyone in this industry can actually do that. Y’all suck. OP, I stand by what I say, being rude isn’t an excuse to try and teach some subjective lesson in manners or moral high ground. The guy was simply a dick, and next time I see him, I’d check him.
If he walks into you it's his fault. If you walks into you while you're looking at your phone he has the right to gut you like a pig.
This post reads somewhere between Holden Caulfield and Dostoyevsky’s “Underground Man.” Thank you, wildly expensive liberal arts education.
I think the lesson here is to just check your phone in the restroom like a normal person.
Seriously is somebody told me to “watch out” after bumping into me at work I’d ask who tf raised them and tell them to get some manners. That kinda thing makes me boil.

Guys fishbowl is about work so I thought I'd know. I WAS INSIDE THE ANGENCY
Guy? As in Guy Fieri?
I hate Google autocorrect.
I'm glad I up to your superior cultural standards. And I glad that I gave you the chance to brag about your wisdom here.
