Have you ever noticed how one stressful moment can shape your entire workday? I have realized that pressure is unavoidable, especially in demanding environments. What has helped me is learning to pause, focus on what I can control, and respond with intention. In challenging situations, how do you manage your response without letting it take over your day?

I currently work as a GM and Operations manager for a family owned Restaurant chain in Denver, CO. I run four Restaurants, and two Coffee shops for the owner. I opened four of these businesses since January 2021. My salary is 73k. I feel very underpaid and very overworked to the point of burnout. I’m wondering what “fair compensation” might be. I want to ask for a raise but not sure what to ask for.
