Looking for a non-tech remote product manager role? Is anyone hiring?

Does IT companies fake job roles like they show development role while attending interview but after joining they give support.Why they don't hire separately for support?Is this because nobody wants to work in support they make job description attractive to make employees join?

I’ve been looking for Project Management Roles for 1 month, after obtaining my CAPM, with 4 years experience in various industries. Looking to fully transition into tech as an APM or TPM based on my experience. I would really appreciate any referrals if your companies are looking to fill this role.

Any advice for a first time manager ?
Context: after ~10y in technical then marketing role, taking over a team of analysts, first management position.

I’ve been in the HVAC industry for 11 years with 10 of those in the field as a technician. As a technician I was considered very capable and was always considered one of the best where ever I worked. I’ve moved on to sales and currently work inside sales at a manufacturer rep. I’m still searching for the outside sales role that I want but I keep running into the “I lack outside sales experience”. Taking a new role in industry after 2 years in public. It’s about a 70% increase from current salary and between 25-30% increase from expected salary after promotion to Senior (find out later today what my new figure would have been). It’s a remote position making solid money and interesting work/field. Just worried I’m leaving public too soon. Raises will be 2-4% in new role until promotion so I will catch up in public about 3-4 years from now. Thoughts?

Hello there. I have been interviewing with Okta and got through all 5 rounds of interviews. They say they want to offer me the job but there is a global freeze for all marketing roles at the company. They want to offer me a contractor role instead. Does anyone here know if that is the case? I haven't heard anything as they seem be on wellness week. Thanks for any guidance :)

I am not sure what to do. My company just had another round of massive layoffs. So far my job was spared. I do got a job offer from a different company but the salary is way lower than what I have now (20,000$ less). Should I choose for financially stability but with a lower salary, or take the risk, keep the higher salary, but have a high chance to loose it as the company isn’t doing great.
