Hello all, does anyone have experience and advice securing a fully remote role in the EU (but allowed to work in any EU country)? I'm currently working as a Marketing manager in the UK so working from abroad is not an option at the moment. I'm keen to move to Europe (with a European passport) and not be restricted by my location as I have family all around.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

How are 1st year litigation associates dealing with WFH? I’ve been having terrible anxiety/panic attacks, and pretty sure my billables wont exceed 110 for April. I’ve been super stressed about it and don’t know how to move on to May with the proper mindset to make up for as much time missed as possible. These numbers are really irrelevant unless you know the agency. It would take a lot less dough to get me into w+k than say, a Translation or similar.

I got a call from KPMG HR for the role of Associate consultant in research team, When she asked me about the expected ctc, I think I quoted less than the market standards but since I am underpaid currently so the amount I quoted was 40-45% hike on my fixed. I have experience of 2.9years
Can anybody please suggest if I clear their interviews will they consider increasing CTC from whatever I quoted becase upon searching for ACon roles they pay much higher than what I quoted.

Started my new job today! I’m joining a late stage startup coming from a more mature company, and am noticing a lotttt of documentation debt. What holiday party did you get?
Anyone living close to an office, got a holiday party with food and drinks, and the venue started open for them until around midnight. Our remote workers got a one hour party w a DJ and trivia that let you win gift cards. Yeah it was nice to win a gift card but I found it lame in comparison to hanging out with my team in real life.

I like working remotely but I'm starting to be concerned that am a little isolated. I'm 100% remote and I live alone. I'm not the biggest people person but this much alone time probably isn't healthy. Does anyone else every feel like this?
