I have an offer from CBA. I have been offered a CTC OF 37L with 7 L being variable and location os Bengaluru.

Two question:
1. When can I expect the variable pay to be given and normally what % of variable py is given to employees.

2. I live in Delhi Ncr, is there a way i can do wfh permanently as i am not too keen to work from bengaluru or work from office is mandatory?

Why is it so challenging for businesses to continue work from home in spite of better productivity than WFO... trying to understand plausible reasons why there is so much of insist on WFO...??

New joiner. What should I get with my $250 wfh stipend? I already have standing desk, dual monitor, portable monitor, and good headset, not too sure what else I need, but it’s free money. Thanks.

I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. To everyone working in claims in the entire country! It’s been a minute since I worked in claims. And never for this particular company. But is this shaming the new way to manage WFH.? Sounds at least toxic.

I got an offer from Pwc IAC, HR confirmed over mail that this is a permanent work from home position. But not mentioned in the offer letter.

I got an email confirmation from HR, which simply says "you can work anywhere from India".

I'm a PA in the PNW working for a private group staffing ED's in several hospitals. Recently the group has asked the PA's to take on a couple new roles (triaging and rapid track from triage i.e. straightforward ESI 4, 5). With these changes the PA's are considering asking for increased pay in the form of an addition of a COLA (cost of living adjustment) to our normal salary. Was wondering if any other PA's in the ED have these in their contracts and at what rate.
