Fidelity Investments I joined FIL on 08th August 2022 and hence was eligible for appraisal but even after a good feedback, I was told that there is no increment in salary as well as bonus because of "Too Soon To Decide" rating. And this is being followed not just in our team but in whole FIL. This is the first time I am hearing such kind of thing and didn't found any thing like this on "HR Hub". So, if anyone of you know about this or have received similar gyan from Manager, please share your experience. Fidelity In

Couldn’t agree more. Pay is absolutely a core factor in all of this. Especially in our expensive cities, teachers and others in the education field need to be paid more.
The more you’re paid, the more you can afford to pay for the cost of living while saving for a down payment. And even if folks don’t go into the profession for the money, y’all deserve our society’s respect. And that respect starts with the folks who are upholding all of us being able to choose to continue doing so AND have a pathway to financial security and freedom near the communities you serve. We’re seeing far too many folks being forced to move professions or cities because salaries and traditional financial tools (like a standard mortgage on a home) are incompatible. We need all sorts of solutions to this, from higher pay, to new financial tools, to government policy that makes sure there are enough homes on the market to keep prices down. No simple task...
