I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

I’ve been in inside/outside roles 7+ yrs in Real Estate & have led sales/development on large residential developments for luxury new construction & assist buyers, sellers, investors. I was very specialized at my law firm and took a similarly specialized role in-house….but I still get requests to mark-up types of agreements that I never touched at my firm. Hello people, need a suggestion, i am working on devops since a few months, and i have been given a task, the deadline of which is tomorrow eod, and i have not been able to do anything significant since the last 2 days 🥺. We r a team of only 3 ppl and no senior is helping me out. My lead will surely scold me Tommorow 😕 What to do? How to handle situations like this? Can they terminate me if i get in such situations again?
