Honestly it was an awful experience and if it’s not too late, I would not accept your position. The non compete is pretty bad when you leave and the company is full of mediocre, amateur, unprofessional and ruthless people.
Some are kind but those are usually the ones who don’t stay for long.
Lots of politics and power moves :)
It’s inconsistent. Some teams are great, some aren’t. I think they have their heart in the right place but the company has some growing pains in order to go public…..
I enjoy my team and leadership. However, loyalty tax is VERY real here. If/when you get promoted or find a better position, don't expect a competitive pay increase.
Like any company that is going through changes: expect change to happen frequently and quickly for stuff you don’t want, and infrequent and slow for stuff you want.
I enjoy it but helps to have a good boss and good coworkers. The politics exist at a leadership level like they do most places. Benefits are C+ but pay is pretty competitive imo. All kinda depends on your leader and your team. Take every opportunity to learn from your coworkers and ask lots of good questions!
