I am currently in industry, but was a Senior in Accounting Advisory, and before that an audit associate. I’m thinking of trying DDV at PwC as I’ve always been interested in M&A integration, but am unsure on carry over of skills and also would like to go somewhere I can be bumped to Manager as I was almost there prior to leaving industry. I know they are on a hiring spree so would coming in as a Manager be possible? I’ve previously been on M&A audit/AAS engagements.

I’m an incoming new hire at Optiv and looking to hear some thoughts about how it is working here! Seems like a solid company and a good opportunity. I welcome any advice for success!

Does anyone actually believe we will be successful in an IPO in the next few months? Anyone ever been thru an IPO with another company? What would the benefit of saying with Optiv when it goes public look like? Is it worth staying at the company for the next year?

Many people say our services are terrible. Without first hand seeing the ppl do our services (unlike consulting) Is there anyone that can give more insight into how our services actually level up and compete against the big 4? Is it just me or does Optiv need to be more like the big4 and change it’s model around to be more like a big4 consulting firm?

So I keep hearing about folks from Deloitte jumping over to optiv, but I am just starting to hear rumblings that some people are having some serious buyers’ remorse. Any ground truth or is it just grass greener syndrome?

Any new hires as a commercial client manager that care to share their base salary? I’m wondering how much more (if any) it’s increased since I was hired.
