What’s WLB like in business roles at Google?
Hi Everyone !!!
This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.

I have to ask: who are the many people? Competitors? Clients? Coworkers?
And can you explain your distinction on services versus consulting? You mean consulting like McKinsey, Parthenon? That’s not optiv.
If you want to be Big4, then go be Big4. We can try and take lessons from them, but changing us into something close to a Big4 is going to take decades.
Setting the right expectations with the customer is key. A successful engagement always begins with pre sales… and I don’t mean the SA or even the practices pre sales - I’m a CM, and I absolutely jump in during the scoping calls to explain the service in a way of ‘what it is and what it is not’ - our services are fantastic if the customer understands what they are getting. I won’t sell anything unless they confirm it back to me. Optiv is a relationships play - this means that my reputation with my customers is what will make me successful, regardless if they buy our services or not. I tell my customers all the time to not buy a solution, or that I disagree with their pick of solution… this goes with services too. I’ve hit my annual quota by the end of Q2 for the second year in a row now, so I know I’m doing something right.
