I am joining newly at EY GDS Kolkata Location. In the offer letter it was mentioned that we will be onboarded virtually and would require to attend the 2 day NHO session in person. And it was also mentioned that, given the current situation we would be able to work in remote. But, my manager said that the training and the project I would be working will be done from office only. There is no work from home concept in EY GDS Kolkata. Is it true ? Please guide me.

I will be joining IBM next week in Bangalore ( physical onboarding ) and my hometown is in West bengal , My father is having health problems , mother won't be able to handle everything and no such person we can rely on . Also I am getting married in January . Hence If i stay in Bangalore there will be no one to take responsibility for my marriage prep also . If i convey to my ibm manager will they consider for 4months of WFH?Any documents may have to show?

I joined KPMG a while ago from federal consulting. Federal consulting had super good work life balance but I’ve been working at KPMG strategy for a while now.
