Has anyone ever had any luck applying for a hybrid job and convincing them to let you work fully remote? I'm seeing a lot of hybrid postings for my role but not a lot of fully remote ones.

I’m interviewing with a startup and the range has a 40k difference from the lowest to highest point. It’s also pre-seed and comes with equity, and health, 401k benefits. It’s a director of sales role so I would eventually be recruiting and managing a team along with building the processes and strategy. What would you consider a fair compensation package? If they offer me something on the lower end of the range, is it still appropriate to counter with an offer that is over their stated range?

Hi fishes, I have recently attended an interview with Accenture India Accenture couple of days back and can see the candidature status is on hold after my 1st round of interview. Does this mean that they are waiting for others to complete their interview or am I rejected? If not ,how many days they tak appxm to make a decision. Rental Housing/Airbnb viability. I have a small portfolio of rental properties on Long Island (NY). I rent them out to long term tenants but there is very little Airbnb activity in this market. I think the yields will increase significantly with an ABNB approach but then again these aren’t sexy locations (in Nassau County) and there isn’t much in terms of attractions that would drive renters to these areas. Summer time yes, winter time not as much. Anyone have any experience in a similar market?

I used to hate growing up poor. Now I'm still poor but I've learned a lot of really practical things. I make most of my wooden furniture, know basic electrical and plumbing work, can cook and bake delicious food, can do most of the basics in car repairs, garden, and make a lot of my own clothes. Not to brag but I'm proud of myself 🥰

I was doing some googling and I saw that PWC offers MBA hires 45k in comparison to MBBs at 70k +. Is this a bad joke? I can't imagine that PWC's target for MBA hires is widely different from MBB. In the US, the pay gap isn't that wide. Any reason behind this madness?
