I hope all of you are doing well! I am new to Fishbowl and new to the Healthcare field. I very recently graduated with a B.A. in Human Resource Management and currently working as a Sourcing Specialist for TidalHealth - a large healthcare group in my area.

I was introduced to fishbowl by a colleague of mine and am hoping to have a positive and educational experience! I will be trying my best to keep interacted with members here and learn as much as I can.

Need some advice. Currently 32 YO with $23.7k in student loans, $60k in retirement, and $54k in cash. Want to pay off loans by end of year, max out 401k, and save for a house. Does it make sense to use $10k from pension to pay down loans and the rest from cash? How much should I have in my 401k by this point?

Any advice for a first time manager ?
Context: after ~10y in technical then marketing role, taking over a team of analysts, first management position.

Heading to an M7 soon from a tech company where I work in a product-adjacent position. I didn’t need this degree to “break into” product management (former company would have let me transition), but I still figured it could be good for the long run.
Now when thinking about 100K in loans, I feel anxious about not getting a PM role after. Was this the right move?

Does anyone have a similar experience? I interviewed with recruiters from two of "Big 4". Both interviews went well, and I was told the recruiters will submit my resume to the partners and senior managers for the next interviews. 3 weeks later, I received the rejection letters without the next interview. I wonder why the partners even not bothered to interview me. If it matters, I am a CPA with 3 years non-PA experience and applied for experienced associate positions. I appreciate any insights.

I'm feeling incredibly anxious and honestly depressed right now because of work. I had already been feeling demotivated and wanting to leave but I was told on Monday that I was being out on probation for one year (I am not going into detail on this). And now my manager is pressing me about finding a new project role as I have been on the bench for more than a month, and one possible one may require travel. I just want to get out of my job now and hear back from the 10+ applications I have now.

I've 3 yoe experience, 1yr associate analyst, 2 years as riversand mdm, i want to branch out to other mdm tools, since they are more well known. But every job portal expects X years of experience for informatica mdm.
