I was interviewed at Google for an NTE role—5 rounds in total, which the recruiter said I cleared. Later I had 2 fit calls with managers. (3-4 months of process) Now, it’s been more than a month, and they haven’t responded to my emails or provided any updates. I got my hopes up after clearing all the rounds, but now they’re being shattered. Does Google ghost candidates like this? I expected the recruitment team to provide feedback so that there could be some closure

How’s the work life balance situation at Amex for data engineers?

10 YOE in strategy/ MGMT consulting. Got an AWS "company fit" fit but not a fit for the position I interviewed for. The recruiter said they are going to keep looking for openings that would be a better fit (non-tech). Has anyone received an offer in this situation, and if so how long did it take?

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.
