Hello Everyone I’m working as a SAP security consultant for 2 years and my package now is 5.89LPA , if I’m looking to switch to another company how much salary can i except or negotiate with them ?….. and is it also a good time to switch companies as I’ve heard from my colleagues that recession is going on and it’s not a good time to switch.

Can anyone please suggest which would be best to join:

Cognizant 6.5lpa (6.3 fixed) (0.2 variable)
Or
Sapient 8.5lpa

Sapient mentioned that if I give confirmation of joining they will increase to 9.5lpa before joining in offer.

Folks, one doubt..... I was hired as a senior consultant in dec 2021. I did not nominated for grade change till now. Will they automatically consider me for grade change or do I have to expicitely talk about it with PC ? Also if grade is changed, how is the impact on salary considering the parity check ? A HR question I really want to understand. ISRS HR quoted a podcast "The not so great resignation" saying 70% regret leaving and many want to go back to old employer. If this really the case the employee likely left due to higher pay at the new company. If they want to boomerang back they will likely come back at even a higher rate than they left the new company for. So getting double raise when they boomeranged. Isn't it unbeneficial, why not just give employee a 7% raise in the first place?
