I recently cleared my masters and am now looking for a job in Finance. At the moment based in Aberdeen and I am applying for London based roles since I am ready to relocate. I feel that since I have Aberdeen address I must not be getting selected. I would be grateful if anybody can advise whether I should move to London to increase the chances for a job.

So.. i tend to get too in the weeds and stumble around a lot on behavioural interview questions. I’m very bad at them. What are some good resources to prepare? When I google, I get crappy ehow article

I will complete my Masters in Information Systems from Georgia State University this fall. Banking on my prior work experience of 5.5 years in SuccessFactors implementation (Deloitte USI), I am targeting similar kind of roles at Deloitte and PwC.
Interviewed with Deloitte for SCon position but the offer has not been released yet. PwC interview is scheduled next week.

I applied to an experienced consultant position at Bain and just heard back. Yesterday, I received an invite to a HireVue one-way interview to complete. Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes. Can anybody offer some insight into each of these/the process?

I’ve been at my clerkship for 5 years (4 with a different judge) and one with my current judge, and I heard horrible things about him before starting, but I assumed they were exaggerated. Turns out they’re all true, and I’ve had to start therapy to deal with him and the incredibly toxic environment. I’m trying to get out ASAP b/c he also has a history of firing clerks without cause or notice, but I think I’ll only be able to give two weeks notice if i get the job I’m interviewing for. Thoughts?

I’ve been in an in-house role since the beginning of the year and just gave 2 weeks’ notice to leave for a much better paying and better titled position. The response has been very petty, to the point that I’ve been called unprofessional even after I asked the hiring attorney whether I could give longer notice at the current company’s request.
