Looked at a house (new build) and MIL said the vinyl windows imply the whole house is probably made with cheap, shoddy materials. She thinks everything has to be wood Marvin windows or bust. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?
