Fellow introverts...can I only advance in my career if I take on a leadership role? The thought of this terrifies me. My current boss hasn't exactly given me the confidence that would reassure me that I'm leadership material. He constantly questions my design choices, which I'm able to defend. I was wondering what kind of contractual or other barriers I might face if I apply for one of the big 4 while working on a project with them in my current company.
I am not too involved in the project but I was in a few meetings and went on a field trip with them as well.
The position that I am applying for is in a different team and city.

Don't know what's wrong here. The interviewer was concerned and was showing empathy. It will be difficult for both the parents.

He was being open and real.

Also very much depends on the tone. Since we were not part of it couldn't say.

On ground level be it man or women, In reality if he/she is in need of job would have told yes I can handle things. It's not a problem.

Hi folks Cognizant DXC Technology I have 15 years of experience in Cognizant..joined as PAT and rose thru the ranks to be SM..in recent years, bad policies at org level and increasing attrition has been breaking me personally and professionally. Guys a big 4 company hr called and was saying in this time also they are hiring so they told to join at X package (which is lower than my current ctc ) , so i just said in hindi “chup” and cut the call. Then hr mailed me that due to my abusive behaviour they blacklist my name from their company. I am ok with it as long as they don’t tell other companies though.
