Senior at EY is different. OP could have as little as 2 years exp.
EY goes staff (analyst), to senior. There is no consultant level. Thats why years exp matters here.
Cool, congrats!! Def a great offer
What level and $$& requested? Depends on level, % and payband. It can take weeks.
senior level. requested 23% raise to 90k
How many years exp?
They will do $90 k easily
Senior what? S2 or S3? Depends on practice, but it can take months for this get sorted especially at this time of year. Unless you've shown them a competing offer and they want you to stay, I suspect they won't give you an off-cycle adjustment and will hold off to give you the raise as part of the annual process coming up this July. Just a guess
I presume you do have a competing offer?
first offer
90k should be bottom of the range for senior at least if ur coming on as an experienced hire.
I only have 1.5 years experience moving to another firm. actually just got the call from HR. they're giving 85k for the role. thoughts? fair or not fair
What Senior level are you OP? S1,S2, or S3? 1.5 years of work experience isn't much to be asking for $90
Very fair. I got offered 80 at Accenture when I came on with a little over 2 years. I had a feeling I low balled myself but thought it was good at the time.
S1 level. yup I offered 90k for negotiation space and also there was no signing bonus.
U can ask for 5k signing: just state you're happy to accept verbally if that's given
I tried but that's most they could do. 85k was my target so I'm content. more would've been better
Nice! OP: did you go in with a counter offer? Or did you just ask for more without another offer?
You get 85 you are ahead of the game. You must be pulling a 5 rating.
they asked for a number that I wanted and then came back next day with the counteroffer 5k less. I actually have another final round tomorrow, do you think if I get more on this one, they would up their offer or too late? I accepted verbally already
by the way thank you guys for your feedback!
