I am about to finish a 6 month bootcamp and I am a single mum. Is it realistic for me to find a remote working job or working in the office during term time (school hours) and working from home during the holidays/evenings. I am planning to look for wfh options due to personal reasons does it effect wlb due to continuous meetings etc

I am currently expecting, have informed my team. Since the organisation is in hybrid mode, when discussed earlier i was told that it is flexible in terms of wfh depending on my health condition. But now my department wants me to be in office twice a week irrespective of the prior discussion. Still half of the office is on hybrid mode. Is it a fair ask?

Anyone has insights into whether we can claim depreciation for our “home office” due to WFH? Not an expert here but looks like it’s for self employed individuals only, but maybe the individual tax experts in this community can help everyone out a bit 🤪

I feel I over meet the qualifications in some areas and just meet them in others. The recruiter said 50k is the salary the company is offer. I know I can negotiate.
