Question about negotiating when hired-- During negotiations would it be weird to ask for an annual review for promotion until I am promoted to senior producer? New job.
Moved from agency after 6yrs, into a startup (€8m Series A, high growth); first marketing hire. My manager is ex VC, seems to like managing by fear, let’s fire X, let’s cut the agency etc. sets tight deadlines & adds urgent items last minute. Others seem to feel I’m doing great but I am butting heads with him constantly about unrealistic workloads etc. Really not enjoying interacting with him, thinking about leaving... should I stick it out? I feel like I’m being abused, but need money!
