Hello, I am on a partnership track to achieve (likely) non-equity partnership in 2024. What does a typical comp/bonus package look like? I have no clue, and want to be knowledgeable and informed going into negotiations. Thanks in advance!

Hi! I think it can vary greatly across firms. You should still have bonus opportunities and health care benefits. It should also be a salary bump from where you are now - at some firms it’s not a big bump because salaries in general are compressed.

Switched firms and new firm doesn’t pay any origination% of business brought in until the total $ brought in is mid-five figures. Standard? My book is below that threshold. Old firm paid 10%.
