Cocktail codex if only one, it’s a terrific place to start learning!

PDT’s cocktail book, Death & Company’s book (Thats’s the best one IMO, very comprehensive), Potions of the Caribbean (amazing vintage recipes of tiki drinks), Regarding Cocktails by Sasha Petraske
awesome, thanks
^ Death & co. Is best one out there
I have a cocktail party recipe book that I really like. I think it's from Williams Sonoma (it was a gift from my SIL). I'll look when I go downstairs. The sparkling wine sangria has become a favorite of both of us.
I have one called “the bar guide”. I like that one because it has the classics and a few fun ones. I have a few other cocktail books I don’t use as much because they have too many “weird” ingredients. Like I’d have to specifically shop and plan to make the cocktails rather than flip open the book and make something that sounds good.
The Gentleman’s Guide to cocktails is a fun one. A good amount of recipes and some enjoyable copy interspersed.
My favorite holiday cocktail (I’m not sure why this has become a holiday cocktail ) is rumchata and diet A&W root beer. You can add a shot of rum to make it stronger or a scoop of vanilla ice cream to make it a boozy dessert.
In the summer I purée watermelon and add soda and tequila with a few jalapeño slices. It’s refreshing and not too sweet.
Not a book, but I love being creative!

Molly Wellman's
Everyday Drinking by Kingsley Amis. Some recipes but also has a lot on the history of alcohol and drinks. Plus he’s hilarious.

They have a print version as well, but I like the site where you put in the ingredients you have and it gives you recipes.
Plus with the book I got too many ideas of things to try so my liquor cabinet exploded with one offs I needed from time to time.
I was just given a copy of Good Drinks by Julia Bainbridge. I am cutting way back on drinking . All non-alcoholic cocktails. Have tried a couple and they’re great. Good to add to collection.

Ooh following. I need this today.
