Hello! I have 4 years experience and have a salary review soon. I completed my NCIDQ exams last year and received no increase due to my firm pushing all reviews. It’s been a year and 7 months since my last salary review. This past year the senior designer left and all their responsibilities/projects fell onto me. I am also now in charge of training all new designers and have been the acting senior for the firm. I’m currently at 58k.. I’m in Dallas, any advice on salary? We are a smaller firm.

While giving the tech interview as well as while having the HR discussion, I mentioned my expected CTC as 9-10 LPA(CTC). I cleared the interview and uploaded all the documents in the portal yesterday. Today mrng all the document verification was completed. But when I got the call for offer discussion, she asked what u expect. I said 9-10 LPA. She questioned me that on what basis I am asking for this much hike. She offered me 6.3 LPA as CTC with 21% variable. 5.2 as basic. Rest part in comments..

I will be completing my Part 1 in architecture but also have a degree in Technology, should I find a different company after graduation or take roles offering £30-45k as an Architectural Technologist/Technician.
