Definitely brush up on Scope 1, 2 + 3 emissions, what they mean, and what types of investments fall within them so you can speak to them with ease and clarity.
The case studies could be sourcing/retrofitting a product, making a hiring diversity decisions, resource efficiency, clean energy, sustainable food/agriculture, or even could be something like setting up an internal framework or program for a client around measurement of ESG. Remember you will likely be asked to recommend PwC offerings in line with what can be done to reduce/offset investments, so know how they present things.
Remember that ESG refers to all three letters: environmental (impact, output, investments, energy, business flights, materials, systems, etc), social (employees, sourcing/working conditions, health & safety), and governance (board/leadership decisions, diversity, risk mitigation, accountability), so any of those topics could come up.
If you're not familiar with ESG/Sustainability in those ways, I absolutely recommend finding a quick or free course online or on linkedin.
Also, I took the HBS Sustainable Business Strategy course a few years back and it really helped approaching case studies - a bit hefty on the investment for some. https://online.hbs.edu/courses/sustainable-business-strategy/
