Hello all. I’m a Talent Acquisition Partner who wants to move into a Project Management role. I’m planning on completing my CSM certification by next month and thinking of completing CAPM as well. Any tips/advices how I can make my CV well suited for a PM role since my entire experience has been as a Recruiter.

Any thoughts on an MBA vs MS Project Management. I was planning on doing an MBA but and MS Project Management seems like the better option now. I will be an international student and was planning on making a career shift into project management itself. I thought MBA would give me the best chance but I came across some good MS Project Management degrees. Also, I already hold a MS but in another field. Any thoughts?

Is there a special title at your company for a Project Manager that works on product development and not an IT project manager?

An example might include launching a new product from conception through form writing, rating, filing, programming, training, and implementation, or the transfer of products from an acquisitions writing company to ours.

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?

Hi folks, I'm a new joinee in tcs. I have been allocated to a project in tcs a month ago and still my on boarding at client side is not completed. I joined a new consulting firm and have been here for 6 months. Recently, a SaaS client (1k employees) that hired my old consulting firm reached out to me about a job opening - Lead BA working primarily to implement their benefit admin system for insurance companies.
