Hello 🐠 - I’m a consultant (5 yoe in consulting) trying to exit into tech roles at midsized tech companies into consulting friendly functions (BizOps, some PMM). Have found the process to be incredibly draining and not getting any traction given my background. I’m not an expert in the industry and having a hard time positioning myself for success. Anyone open to talking about their journey (short call or email) for advice? Would love to learn what more I can do! Thanks.

This morning I was trying to get feedback from him on a business idea and his response was: Maybe you should focus on your career since you didn’t get a job in finance and had to settle for consulting, and you work at Deloitte... it’s a sweatshop. They didn’t even give you a fast track promotion did they?

This is a regular thing and it’s the fucking weekend. I could use a break.
