Hello! I'm opening my own virtual assistant agency and would love to just hear your thoughts.. Have you ever thought about hiring a virtual assistant or believe you could benefit from one?

If you've worked with virtual assistants before, I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences. And if you haven't, I'd love to know your thoughts on the concept.

Your input will help me a lot, so I’d appreciate the discussion!

I’ve thought about doing this for the flexibility. Please keep us updated. There’s got to be a need for it out there.

No becuase the thought of coaching someone or trusting them to take over a series of professional or personal tasks is incredibly daunting to me. I am sure this is not the case with most people so if you present a menu of services that can be performed, you may have a winning service.

Yes. Sorry being honest! But I am probably the worst caee scenario business case. I managed high performance teams for years and communication and trust were essential (as well as common sense, EQ, and self governing SMEs). It is not about NDAs or privacy policy on paper - it is about being able to trust and rely on someone knowing you don’t have train, coach, or micro-manage them. It is hard to find someone who is confident, armed with solid people skills, who can walk in and make magic happen.

Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. I need a job that’s flexible for the kids but pays >$44/hr. Maybe remote or hybrid? Please help w/ suggestions.

Anyone witness slackers who got into companies you have no idea how? Had a coworker who does jack chit at work besides chatting on Facebook yet lands at a faang company? I guess if he brings the same work ethic he will be spit out for sure. Or maybe he just had no interest in doing project work.

Decided that I’m leaving audit today. Trying to understand the full range of opportunities in forensics. Will have my CPA and CFE. So far, I understand that there are client-serving firms like FTI and then the B4 will have forensics arms as well. What are some other forensic accounting roles? Pros and cons? Better than audit? Honestly just looking to learn anything.

I’m (early30s) about 8 months into a relationship with a 40m. Things are wonderful in every aspect, but he is absolutely atrocious with his finances. I felt it becoming an issue about two months ago. He forgets about auto payments and just generally doesn’t care. I sat down with him and looked at everything and even after talking it out he still continues to stress and it’s now causing me stress. I had a final discussion with him today about it and he went on abt how love isn’t enough for me…
